We wear the official Scouting America uniform (Class A) for meetings, ceremonies, travel to and from campouts, Courts of Honor, and other formal troop events. Our “Resources” page includes more details and a purchasing guide with direct links to items at the Scout Shop for easy ordering.
ORDER OUR UNIFORM
We use GroupMe to share updates and reminders with parents. The app is not required. If you choose not to download it when you join, then you will receive and send messages as text (SMS).
Most troop communication to parents will be through the group text, but it is important for us to have your phone number(s) and email address(es). Please complete our brief Contact Information Form so that you don’t miss any important communications.

Troop 5117 is led by parent volunteers. Whether you can share a skill, assist at an event, or help with transportation, your involvement strengthens our troop. No outdoor experience is required.
